PROJECT: What’s a Girl to Do? The Movie
GOAL: Win the Heart of America Back to Life & End abortion
While we all celebrate God’s rescue of America, there is one critical issue on which we have lost ground: the Right to Life. The Republican Party platform was weakened; abortion was viewed as a liability; and “Abortion until Partial-Birth” ballot initiatives have steamrolled through nearly a dozen states.
To win the heart of America back to life, we must begin with our strongest issue, one on which President Trump, himself, articulated in presidential debates: Partial Birth Abortion. This is a national campaign in the form of a movie, which has already won nine “Best Screenplay” / “Best Writer” film festival awards.
More watchable in the form of a romance: The true story of how Janet Folger passed the nation’s first ban on Partial Birth Abortion while falling in love with the son of her worst enemy, the woman who killed her bill (picture dating the son of Nancy Pelosi). Overcoming impossible odds, this historic effort ignited 30 states and Congress to pass Partial Birth Abortion Bans and led to two U.S. Supreme Court rulings, with the final victory in 2007. At the end of the film, Janet introduces the idea for the next wave of protection: a Heartbeat Bill to ensure if a heartbeat is detected, the baby is protected (which became law in 15 states and counting), an idea God gave Janet in 2010.
Giving the final floor speech to pass the first Partial Birth Abortion Ban was Rep. Troy Lee James, an African American liberal Democrat, who happened to be the youngest of 18.
The film is designed to rally America back to life and springboard to substantial protection with the federal Heartbeat Bill. In 2018, Janet’s team of volunteers, which included former Majority Leader Tom DeLay, secured 174 co-sponsors of the Federal Heartbeat Bill (more than any other pro-life bill) including current Speaker Mike Johnson. As Cindy Jacobs emphatically declared, this screenplay is “THE Tipping point to end abortion.” Help make the film about ending abortion with the proceeds going to end abortion nationally, in a proven and effective way to protect every child whose heartbeat can be heard.
